I am a Master’s student at Symbiosis International University working under Prof. Sunil D. Saroj on the pathogenesis of Neisseria meningitidis. My work explores the 'crosstalk' between host metabolites and bacterial stress responses. By elucidating how these host-derived signals influence pathogen fitness, my work seeks to define the molecular interfaces between host metabolism and bacterial survival to better understand infection outcomes.
